  1. Scroll and select -Manage connections-

  3. Press -Escape- to go back to the -Home- screen
  4. Go to -Options- menu and select -Advanced options-
  5. Select -SIM card-
  6. Select -Show keyboard-
  7. Hold the ALT key while typing MEPD. You will not see text appear on screen while typing. This opens up a personalization menu

  9. Press ALT and 2 simultaneously to get number 2.
  10. You should be presented with a prompt -Enter Network MEP Code-

  12. After entering the code press the trackball
  13. Restart your phone and restore connections by following the first two steps

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 8700:

***** You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps, I have found that this procedure works best with an AT&T or Cingular Sim card in the phone ( Sim from the provider phone is locked to, active or inactive ) Make sure the phone is not displaying the low battery warning! *****
  1. go to settings
  2. go to options
  3. go to advanced options
  4. go to sim card
  5. Type MEPD (not case sensitive) (you will not see text appear on screen while typing)
  6. Does it say Network active? if so your phone is locked
  7. Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE (not case sensitive, and you will not see text appear on screen while typing)
  8. It will say "Enter Network MEP Code, then you type in the 16 digit unlock code, press in the jog dial to confirm.
  9. Your phone is now unlocked

BlackBery 8800 Unlock Code Entry Instructions

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 8800 Pearl:

***** You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Sim from the provider phone is locked to, active or inactive ) *****
  1. Go to settings menu => and then Options
  2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card

How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry 6xxx 7xxx: ie 6230, 7100, 7290 etc..

  1. Select Options menu on BB.
  2. Now you select SIM CARD menu. To be able to see this you have to type this on the keypad on phone : (TEXT WILL NOT APPEAR ON THE SCREEN until you enter the unlock co de)
  3. Type 'MEPD' for all models except 7100 in which case in case use 'MEPPD'.
  4. Usually u should see "active" NET lock. Now in order to disable this lock type 'MEP2' respectively 'MEPP2' if phone is 7100 and will appear a dialog asking for code.
  5. NOTE: You must use the "alt" or "shift" key to enable numbers so example would be: m-e-p-"alt key"-2 Now you should see the place to enter your net unlock code.(if not, y ou didn't type in mep2 or mepp2 properly.) Here you must enter the "NET Unlock Code" that the bb unlocker showed you and hit return.


How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Pearl 8100, 8110, 8120, 8220:
  1. Go to Options Menu => Advanced Options
  2. In the SIM Card menu, hold down the shift (right of the zero, cap) press meppd
  3. You'll see the unlocking level screen there you hold the ALT key (left side below @) type mepp2 (*You won't see any text while you are typing either one of these.)
  4. Enter the unlock code.


How to Enter Unlock Codes on BlackBerry Bold 8800, 8820, 9000, Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, Javelin 8900, Gemini 8520, 9300, & Onyx 9700 (Bold2):

1. Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card and press select.
2. While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd.
3. You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4. While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.
5. Release the shift key.
6. You will now be prompted to enter the Network MEP code.
7. Enter the Unlock Code.
8. Enter Return/Enter.
9. Your Blackberry Curve 8520 phone should then be unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Code for Blackberry 9630 Tour

***** You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Can be active or inactive ) *****

1. Ensure the SIM Card that came pre-installed in the Blackberry TOUR is inserted
2. Go to 'Manage Connections'
3. Click on 'Turn All Connections Off'
4. Go back to 'Options'
5. Click on 'Advanced Options'
6. Click on 'SIM Card'
7. Type 'MEPD' (letters will not appear on-screen but a menu will pop up)
8. Type 'MEP2'
9. You will be prompted to enter the MEP code (Unlock Code)
10. Enter the unlock code (phone will show "code accepted")
11. Reboot the phone
12. Go to Manage connections --> select "restore connections"



BlackBerry models not listed above

1. Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card.
2. While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd
3. You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4. While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.
5. Release the shift key.
6. You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code (it will also state how many attempts left)
7. Enter the code
8. Enter Return/Enter
9. The device should then be unlocked

 

How to Remove Blackberry IT Policy



Method One

Method 1: Removing IT Security Policy (Preferred)

If you have any 8xxx or 9xxx Blackberry the best method for removing IT policy is to update it to OS 4.3 or higher (if possible) and you can use JL_Cmder's "resettofactory" command to remove ALL IT policy, Firewall restrictions and Application Permission settings. After you've upgraded to OS 4.3 or higher, just backup the Blackberry using Desktop Manager, close Desktop Manager, then run JL_Cmder and execute the "resettofactory" command. The device will do a security wipe of the device; (meaning wipe your data but leave the OS, DO NOT use the "Wipe" command in JL_Cmder) then reboot leaving the OS, all 3rd party apps but no data, best of all, no IT policy. When you're done, just restore your backup and you're done. No more IT policy or locked firewall. You can downgrade back to the old OS if you wish.

If your 7xxx or 8xxx device is running OS 4.2 or lower (look in Options >About) and you can't upgrade it to OS 4.3 or higher you will NOT be able to use method 1 above and you will need to use method #2 below:


Method Two



Step 1

Ensure the Blackberry Desktop Manager is installed using Blackberry Internet Service, and not Blackberry Enterprise Server. If you are unsure, uninstall the Desktop Manager and start again.

If you don't have the CD that came with your Blackberry, the Software can be downloaded here. BlackBerry Software Site

Step 2

Download the file policy.bin Download Here. and save it in your Blackberry installation directory (C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry).

Step 3

Wipe your Blackberry, creating a backup if necessary. Select Options/Security/Wipe (Newer 4.2 OS Devices Goto Options/Security Options/General Settings/Wipe) on the Device.

If this option is unavailable, you may have to install the latest software on your Blackberry. You need to Download and install the latest Desktop Manger Software, then the latest Handheld Software. Connect your device, open the Desktop Manager, select Application Loader, and follow the prompts.

Step 4

Close the Desktop Manager if it is open.

Step 5

From the Windows Start Menu select Run..., and at the prompt type regedit. In the tree on the left hand side, navigate to:

HKEY_Current_Users\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\PolicyManager

Right-Click the Policy Manager Folder and select New/String Value. Name the value Path. Now, Double-Click the Path Subkey and set Value Data to:

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\policy.bin

Step 6

Open the Desktop Manager.

Step 7

Connect the Blackberry.


Verification

Once complete, the Options/Security screen on your Blackberry should not contain references to an IT Policy, you should now be able to change all settings (including ability to disable the password), and install Third Party Applications such as the Blackberry Mep Reader Software.

     

Treo Unlock Code Instructions

How to enter my Unlock Code on Treo

Model : Treo 180 & 270

1 - Switch ON your phone without SIM Card,
2 - Compose : *#*#CODE#

Model : Treo 600

1 - Switch ON your phone with Allowed SIM Card,
2 - Go to Menu and select "Phone Tool" or "Phone Application"
3 - Type on Virtual Keyboard *#*#CODE#
4 - Select with PEN "Numer" and phone will show that's unlocked now !

or

1 - Switch ON your phone with a not Allowed SIM Card,
2 - Enter the Unlock Code we send to you.


Model : Treo 680 / Centro:

1. Power on with non-cingular sim
It will then say "Your phone cannot be used with this SIM card"

2. Click ok
3. Click dialpad tab, bottom of the screen far left
4. Using stylus type *#*#code#
5. Press the green button
6. It will then say The SIM Lock has been removed from the phone"

Troubleshooting:

Error Message: "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone"

Solution 1: Please make sure you are entering the correct code and enter it using this method *#*#CODE# dial

Solution 2: If the phone says that the SIM lock has not been removed, ensure that the phone radio (wireless mode) is on.

 

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Pantech Phones:

  1. POWER ON PHONE WITH ACCEPETED SIM CARD

  3. A SIM Unlock Menu will appear, press OK

  6. YOUR PHONE will display Unlock Process Complete. Press OK.

HP iPaq Unlock Code Instructions

How to Enter Unlock Codes on HP iPaq series phones (iPaq 6315, 6325, 6300, 6515 , etc)

  1. On the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
  2. Tap the Phone Band icon.
  3. Tap the Keyboard icon to open the virtual keyboard
  4. Tap Shift and then Ctl key to enable the keys.
  5. Tap the blank area below the band selection box to open the unlock tool.
  6. Tap Shift and then Ctl to disable the keys.
  7. Enter the 8-digit unlock code and tap OK when done.
  8. Wait for the device to validate the unlock code (about five seconds). You will see one of the following screens:
    • Unlock successful.
    • Unlock failed due to incorrect code. The user has three attempts to unlock. After three attempts, the device will refuse any more unlocking attempts. Perform a sof t reset to reset the counter to perform additional unlocking attempts.
    • Device is not ready for unlocking. This error message displays when the user tries to unlock when the phone application (not the device) is not in a steady state. It takes 30 seconds after powering on the phone for it to reach a steady state.
HP iPaq Code Not Accepted
  1. Insert a SIM card
  2. Hard reset the iPaq by holding down the power button and pushing the soft-reset button until the device restarts.
  3. Go through the setup procedure with calibration and get to the default home screen
  4. Verify that there are service bars showing in the top of the screen and the green/orange phone light on the top right is blinking green
  5. Wait 60 seconds after verifying everything is ok
  6. Enter the unlock code, it should be accepted by the second time
  7. If these steps do not work, please insert a different SIM card and start at step 2.

Sony Ericsson Unlock Code Instructions

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Sony-Ericsson Cell Phones

  1. Switch ON your phone without Sim card
  2. Press 1 time the left arrow
  3. Press 2 times the button *
  4. Press 1 time the left arrow
  5. 'Personalize with MNC2' will appear
  6. You can now enter your unlock code

If your phone has a 'JOGDIAL' (ex : SonyEricsson K700i) you must press 'Down arrow' instead of 'Left arrow' for step 2 & 3. We mean by 'Down arrow'' to direct the Jogdial down

  1. Switch ON your phone with a not allowed Sim card, the phone show 'Enter Special Code' or 'Enter Subsidy Code', you can now enter your unlock code.

Note: If you get the prompt "Contact Service Provider" or "Phone Blocked" , please leave your phone on at that prompt for upto 8 hours. This will reset the phone's internal time r and automatically change the prompt to "Enter Subsidy Code" , at which point you should enter the unlock codes exactly as provided.

How to Enter Unlock Codes On LG Mobile Phones

Model : LG F2250
  1. With orange sim card in the start menu type : 2945#*3311# - the handset will show saved and return to startup screen
  2. press Menu key, choose Settings > Security > Sim Lock> Network > Deactivate, handset will now show 'Enter NCK'
  3. type your unlock code and press OK.


Model : LG U8110
  1. With a not allowed sim card enter Pin code then validate type : 277634#*#
  2. select 'Sim Unlock' menu enter NCK code then validate
  3. your phone is now unlocked


Model : LG U8210
  1. With a not allowed sim card enter Pin code then validate tape : 277634#*#

How to Enter Unlock Code on LG CU320:

1) Power on the handset
2) In Idle screen, input the special code "277634#*#".
3) Enter the SIM Unlock code
4) Access the submenu "SIM Test" in Phone Test Mode.
5) Input the special code "2945#*#".
6) Access the submenu "SIM Unlock" which is just activated after the special code.
7) Input the 8-digit Unlock code in the "Enter unlock code" input screen.
8) It will be unlocked.

1) Insert non-Cingular SIM card"
2) Power on the handset - Phone will display "Invalid SmartChip".

4) Enter the 8 digit SIM Unlock code

1) Put a non-Cingular sim in the phone
2) Phone says invalid smart chip
3) Now enter *#865625# then select option 1 and then again select 1
4) Enter your 16 digits code
5) Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
6) The handset is unlocked.



How to Enter Unlock Code on LG CU720/TU720 (Shine):

1) Insert At&t SIM card
2) Power on the handset
3) Type *#865625#
4) the phone will ask you to input the unlock code twice, just input the unlock code
5) Device is now unlocked

If Above does not work

Try using a non-allowed SIM card (SIM that didn't come with the phone) and do the same steps for 2, 3, 4 & 5.



How to Enter Unlock Code on LG CU915/CU920 (Vu):

1) Insert At&t SIM card
2) Power on the handset
3) Type *#865625#CODE (CODE is the code we provided you)



How to Enter Unlock Code on LG C2000:

1) Insert non-Cingular SIM card
2) Power on the handset - phone will display "phone restricted"
3) Select "Cancel" - phone will display "phone restriction code"
4) Enter the SIM Unlock code
5) Select "OK" - the handset is now successfully unlocked

1) Dial this into the LG Incite's phone menu

How to Unlock LG (Other models not listed, Example:CE110, CF360, CG180, CG225, C1300, C1300i, C1500):

1) Insert not-allowed SIM card
2) Power on the handset- phone will display "phone restricted"
3) Select "Cancel" - phone will display "phone restriction code"
4) Enter the SIM unlock code
5) Select "OK" - the handset is now successfully unlocked

How To Enter Unlock Codes on Samsung D807 mobile phones:

  1. Switch on your phone with a non-accepted SIM card. The phone will ask for 'Password'
  2. You can now enter your unlcok code. (Even if phone doesn't ask for a password, enter the unlock code)
  3. If 'Insert Correct SIM card' message appears: enter #0111*code#
Samsung Incorrect Password Prompt
  1. If you have changed your phone password, change your password back to the default 8 zeros (00000000).
    • Goto SETTINGS, SECURITY, then SIM LOCK and disable this before proceeding.
  2. Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your phone is locked to
  3. When Incorrect SIM (I got invalid card and there was a sim card graphic spinning) error comes up, type *#9998*3323#.
  4. White screen will appear with an exit option. Press the right softkey. (I ended up pushing the down key to get a menu)
  5. From the menu that appears, select the Malloc Fail option. This will reboot the phone and the normal service screens will appear.
  6. Type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personalization" or "Personalized" will appear.
  7. Turn off your phone and put the original SIM back in.
  8. Turn on your phone. You will receive a prompt to enter a password.
  9. Type 8 zeros (00000000) (This is because the SIM LOCK Mentioned earlier gets switched back on)
  10. Completed. You have now unlocked your phone.

Model: Samsung i616 Jack or Blackjack2 from Fido Canada

1. Power ON your phone with a FIDO SIM Card that the phone is locked to
2. Type #7465625*638*
3. Network Lock Screen appear, enter UNLOCK CODE
4. Device is now unlocked

Model: Samsung A767 (Propel), A437, T459 (Gravity):

1 - Power on without SIM
2 - Type in #7465625*638*Unlock code# (8 digit unlock code*)
3 - Device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated"
4 - Phone may automatically reboot

1. Insert an unaccepted SIM card
2. Enter the pin code to simcard
3. At the top of screen an "exclamation mark" icon will appear
6. Click on "exclamation mark" icon
7. There will appear link "settings" - click on it
8. Virtual keyboard appears on screen with Enter PIN prompt.
9. Enter your 8-digit unlock code.

Model : Samsung SGH-P207:

1. Reset to original factory setting by typing *2767*3855#, youre phone will reboot
2. Then insert a sim card that is from another network that your phone is not locked to.
3. An Wrong sim message will come up on the screen
4. When message appears type in* #9998*3323#
5. At this time a white screen will appear which says "exit"
6. Tap the rigth soft key, (occasionally it will not go to the next screen, if so press the down key)
7. From the menu that appears scroll down to the malloc Fail option, this will reboot, and normal service screen will appear.
8. Then type *0141# and press the green call key, Personalized will appear on the screen, and the name of the current sim card provider will appear on the screen.
9. Turn phone off, and then turn on
10. Go to menu by tapping left soft key, then settings in bottom right hand corner, then choose option number 7 security, then choose option number 6 Sim Lock, select option 1 disable
